Overview
Burn Rate is a limited-edition hot sauce created by Runway—an FP&A platform for fast-growing companies. The campaign set out to rethink B2B merch, which often feels predictable and uninspired. We wanted to make something that would actually resonate with our audience—finance leaders. Since “burn rate” is what keeps them up at night, we turned the concept into something literal: a hot sauce. Each bottle comes wrapped in a real $100 bill, applied with museum-grade, reversible adhesive. The bills remain fully intact and fit for circulation, satisfying both design intent and legal requirements.

Role
Concepted the campaign in collaboration with Runway’s in-house team, pushing for something provocative that would stand out in a sea of corporate swag.
Designed the full system—from label to secondary packaging—drawing from guilloche patterns, keylines, and embossed finishes to echo the intricacy of currency while keeping the bill as the focal point.
Art directed photography and video to capture elevated, product-first imagery that communicates premium quality and intentional craftsmanship. The visual tone feels luxurious and refined—with attention to materials, detail, and light.
Hand-applied all 200 bottles personally to ensure precision, consistency, and finish.
